2 Scarves

Brendan’s Scarf

The scarf I made for my father-in-law is finally going in the mail today, but I thought I’d get a picture of it along with the one that I made for Brendan out of the extra yarn.  They’ll be twins!  I still need to wash and try to flatten out Brendan’s, which is why it’s so curled up in the pic of him.  If anyone has any tips about making them without doing that, I would love to hear them!  Still learning…

So, did you guys see the preview for the next three episodes of Grey’s Anatomy?  I don’t know if I’m excited about it or not, because they’ve had some pretty extreme stuff on there already… this might take it too far!  But, I’ll try to have faith. 🙂  While I’m talking tv I might as well add that I’m am excited that Lost starts up again next week!

Your son is adorable. IT looks to me like that is a stockinette scarf, but it’s hard to tell. Stockinette rolls, no way around it. You could pick up stitches aroun the edges and add some garter stitch, or crochet a border.

this scarf was so cute in person. b looked like such a big boy!
