Knitting Books

Posted on: December 20, 2007

I recently checked out a few knitting books from the library. I wanted to put a short review of what I thought, if for no other reason than my own memory.

Simply Baby: 20 Adorable Knits for Baby’s First Two Years by Debbie Bliss: I seriously want to make every project in it. Unfortunately I’m not skilled enough yet. Maybe when I complete her Baby Knits for Beginners book (*crossing fingers*). Here’s an example of the projects:

Fun and Funky Knitting by Emma King also has a lot of projects that look good. I would actually wear/use them.  Seems to be hard to find a book like that with adult stuff in it.  Both Hip Knits    and The Yarn Girls Guide To Knits are full of things you’d have to be over 40 to wear (or make for someone else to wear).
