Searching For Creativity

Quiet Night

Posted on: August 13, 2008

I have a quiet night alone, and what do I do? Bake of course. 🙂

Blueberry Scones. I’ve been wanting to try to make scones for a long time. I’m glad I finally did. This recipe was barely harder than biscuits!

I had to break the no snacks at night rule tonight though. How could I pass up something freshly baked? Yeah, it’s a shame I like to bake (and eat) so much. I guess I’m just going to have to work out more. hehe.

I was planning on doing a weekend in review post today. It was a pretty good one though. Got to hang out with family and friends and eat lots of good food. What could be better? You should’ve seen the spread my G-ma had on Sunday! Great Italian food, and lots of it! C ran his second 5k on Sunday morning. I had to get up at 5:30, and I had to wake the kids up at 6! Eck! We were repaid by getting lots of free stuff as we walked around waiting for C.
